Iron deficiency is the most common dietary deficiency in the world and particularly affects menstruating and pregnant women? infants? children? vegetarians? vegans and athletes. In New Zealand dietary iron deficiency in infants is very prevalent and may reflect an inherent deficiency in pregnant and breast feeding women. B12 and folate deficiency anaemia is also relatively common in those on low or non-meat diets and in adults over 70.

Radiance® Iron Complete provides enhanced bioavailability with Ferrochel® iron bisglycinate? the extra gentle? non-constipating? non-irritating form of amino acid chelated? organic iron shown to be four times better absorbed than other forms such as ferrous sulphate. The inclusion of vitamin C further enhances iron absorption whilst vitamin B12 and folic acid are essential components for the production of healthy red blood cells.

Directions: Adults & children over 5: One capsule daily? preferably away from food. Avoid taking antacids? calcium supplements? dairy products? tea or coffee within 1 hour before or after taking iron supplements because they decrease absorption. In the unlikely event that stomach upset occurs? this supplement can be taken with food.
