Dyson DC38 Multi Floor is the lightest to pull, with Ball™ technology for smooth steering and greater control. At just 6.5kg it's easy to carry and store. DC38 Multi Floor has Dyson's latest Radial Root Cyclone™ technology. It comes with a Mini Flat out head for high dirt removal across all floor types.

The new Dyson Ball™ cylinders are the only cylinder vacuum cleaners with a central steering mechanism. The ball doesn't dig into carpet pile and an articulating chassis moves in the direction of the user. Steering is smooth around furniture and obstacles.

Radial Root Cyclone™ technology

Conventional vacuum cleaners rely on bags to trap dust and dirt. But when you start to use some bagged machines, dust can clog the tiny holes in the bag. Some ordinary bagless vacuum cleaners work in a similar way. They use a central filter to trap fine dust, which can clog too. Suction drops, leaving dust and dirt behind in your home.

Dyson's patented cyclone technology captures more dirt than any other cyclone. In Radial Root Cyclone™ technology remodelled airflows maximise suction power. Improved flow efficiency reduces turbulence and preserves air pressure, so more microscopic particles are extracted by the inner cyclones. These refinements help remove more dust, allergens and pet hair from the home.

Ball™ technology for cylinder vacuums

Dyson Ball™ cylinder vacuums turn on the spot. DC38 cylinder vacuum cleaners have a central steering mechanism. The ball holds the heaviest component - the motor - positioned towards the base for a low centre of gravity and greater stability. Dyson Ball™ cylinders follow with greater control and without the awkward moves.

Engineered for reduced noise levels

Essential components are located inside the acoustically treated ball. The motor is attached to the housing with sound-dampening mounts. Less noise escapes from the airways, and polyurethane sound-insulating materials absorb sound energy.
