Story Creator helps users to create "video stories" with a sense of narrative and pacing. Choose from five preset themes and recommended story scenes on the camcorder.
Cinema-look filters compensate colour, gamma and other aspects of the image quality. Create professional looking video easily with 9 different "looks" (Standard / Vivid / Dream / Cool / Nostalgic / Sepia / Old Movies / Memory / Dramatic B & W).
Touch Decoration superimposes decorations added by users through the touch panel onto the images and then records the resulting images. Users can select decoration settings using pen & stamp, animation, date / time & title or image mix (mixed image selection).
Built-in Wi-Fi & MP4 recording
Built-in Wi-Fi conforms to 802.11 b/g/n wireless specifications. Recorded videos can be transferred to Windows PC running bundled Network Utility software or to a FTP server. Movies can also be recorded in MP4 format or converted from existing footage and be uploaded to social networking sites natively, via built-in Wi-Fi, through a dedicated iPhone app.
Intelligent IS
Intelligent IS automatically selects and switches among 4 types of IS (Dynamic IS, Macro IS, Powered IS, Tripod) depending on shooting conditions. Users are now free to concentrate on shooting a scene and let the camcorder decide automatically on the best IS mode for the scene.
