1. RC522 Chip:
MF RC522 is applied to the highly integrated read and write 13.56MHz contactless communication card chip. Aiming at the "table" application， the NXP launched a low-voltage， low-cost， small size of the non-contact card chip to read and write. It is a better choice for researching and developing smart meters and portable handheld devices. It uses advanced modulation and demodulation concept， and it completely integrates with all types of 13.56MHz passive contactless communication methods and protocols. It supports 14443A compatible transponder signals. The digital part is to handle the ISO14443A frames and error detection. In addition， it supports rapid CRYPTO1 encryption algorithm and terminology validation MIFARE products. As a new member of the 13.56MHz reader card series of highly integrated chip family， MF RC522， MF RC500 and MF RC530 are with a lot of similarities， but also have many differences. 2. RFID Module:
The MF522-AN module is adopted the original Philips MFRC522 chip to design the circuit of card reader. Easy to use， and low cost. It applies to advanced application users who aim at equipment and card reader development， users who need design or produce RF card terminal. This module can be directly loaded into the various reader molds. It utilizes 3.3V voltage and it is through several cables of the SPI interface to directly connect with any user's CPU motherboard. It can ensure that the module is stable， reliable and long distance card reading.
