Those of you with the ability to pitch match, beat mix and have a good understanding of the mixing board will find the advanced course the perfect way to tighten, refine and broaden your skills.

The Advance course will be fully focus on your hearing without any visual help of Serato Scratch Live.

At the beginning of the course you will be asked to perform a mix, the tutor will then assess your ability and decide what areas need improving. You will spend the first half of the day working these skills, before moving on to new techniques. You will then learn a host of new skills and tricks including: method two pitch control, EQ tricks, and advanced mixing board techniques, basic turntablism, CD mixing, acapella mixing, drop mixing and three channel mixing.

During the course we will also discuss the industry, DJ agencies and mix CD's. The advanced course will really give you the final push you need to step into the industry, we will share our wealth of knowledge and experience with you. Many former advance course students have gone on to play out in clubs.
We find that once you have mastered the basic technics, more advanced skills are easy to pick up and you will be amazed how much you can learn in just one weekend.
