This helps to reduce joint shock with each pole placement, lessen the impact of the tips on nature, slightly lengthen the wear-through time of each tip and help to reduce the noise with each placement of the poles --------------- Do you do a lot of hiking and will be going through many tips? Check out our larger packs of tips to save you money! --------------- We guarantee the workmanship of our tips however since with normal use this product does wear down we can only warranty them against manufacturer defects on new, un-used tips --------------- If you think you have received a defective tip and have not used it, please contact us within 1 year of receiving the tip and we will work to replace it with you! --------------- Another great product brought to you by BAFX Products!
