Alanase is for the short term prevention and treatment of allergies. It works by reducing the swelling and irritation in the lining of the nose. Alanase relieves the symptoms of:

- Blocked nose
- Runny nose
- Itchy nose
- Sneezing

Alanase Directions: Shake gently before use. Adults and children over 12 years of age: TWO sprays into each nostril TWICE a day. Then after TWO to THREE days? reduce to ONE spray into each nostril TWICE a day.

Alanase Ingredients: Each spray contains:

- Beclometasone Dipropionate - 50mcg
- polysorbate? dispersible cellulose? glucose (anhydrous)? purified water? benzalkonium chloride and phenethyl alcohol

Alanase Precautions: Keep Alanase out of reach of children. Do NOT use Alanase if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do NOT exceed the recommended dose. Discard Alanase bottle 3 months after first use. Do NOT use Alanase for more than 6 months without advice from a healthcare professional.

Seek medical advice BEFORE using Alanase if you:

- are already taking another steroid product (eg tablets? asthma or nasal inhaler or eye/nose drops)
- have had to stop taking another medicine for your hayfever
- have recently had an injury or surgery to your nose
- have a nasal or sinus infection
- have an ulceration in your nose
- bleed easily or get frequent nose bleeds
- are pregnant? might become pregnant or are breast feeding

Seek medical attention DURING use of Alanase if you:

- Develop signs of an infection? such as:
- - Fever? nasal or facial pain
- - Purulent (ie pus-containing) or discoloured nasal discharge
- - Bleeding from the nose
- - Acute eye pain or visual disturbance
- Experience side effects including:
- - Itchiness
- - Bad taste or smell
- - Dry or irritated nose or throat
- - Nose bleeds
- - Red eyes or misty vision
- - Swelling of face? lips? or mouth
- - Sneezing? wheezing or difficulty breathing
- - Skin rash/lumpy rash (hives)
- - Headache or fainting
- Do not experience relief from your symptoms after seven days
