The new innovative PTD 1 thermal detector is a versatile measurement instrument which enables users to quickly identify hidden thermal bridges and mould risk areas.

 

This user friendly detector uses contactless infrared temperature measurement to determine the exact temperature of any surface, helping find hot or cold spots, places mould may form inside the home.

 

The PTD 1 has been developed to help maintain the optimum room temperature in home spaces, whilst saving energy by stopping heat from escaping through gaps in window frames and cold spots in wall and loft insulation.

 

Thermal bridges are not always visible to the naked eye. Using the “thermal bridge mode”, this will help detect temperature difference, compared to ambient room temperature. Inadvertently helping you search for hidden cost factors, such as heating costs, and identifies the areas where you need to take action to eliminate them, making you home more energy efficient!
