No Ordinary Krill Oil!

A recent double blind, randomized, placebo-controlled crossover study suggests that K-REAL™ krill oil, is more effective than fish oil in reducing the ratio of omega-6 : omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, and improving the level of EPA and DHA accumulated in the red blood cells (omega-3 index.)

Due to structural differences, the bioavailability of krill oil, which is a phospholipid based oil, could be higher than fish oil, a triglyceride-based oil, conferring properties that render it more effective than fish oil in increasing omega-3 index.*
