For automatic type of Seiko watches,the second last alphabet J means made in Japan and K means in other countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, etc. J type of watch is more expensive than K type due to higher cost of labour in Japan. But both type of watches are made with the same parts and are equal in terms of functions and quality.
