shingo murakia,a skilled chef is appointed as a temporary teacher for a high school cooking class back in his old rural hometown.at first,shingo finds himself up against his students indifference to his class and in school in general.slowly the teacher and his pupils find common ground and then start working together as they open a restaurant,which acts as a training ground for the students.
