Simple Cooking Step - Baked Scallop With Cheese
- Defrost the scallop
- Cook a pot of water to boiling & pre-heat oven to 200 degree celcius
- Place the scallop into the hot water for and turn off the fire
- Blanch the scallop for 1-2 minutes
- Lay aluminium foil over the baking tray and arrange the scallop facing upwards
- Bake the scallop for 1-2 minutes and take out the baking tray from the oven
- Place shredded mozzarella/cheese & mayonnaisei on top of the scallop
- Bake the scallop for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is slightly melted
- Ready to serve. (You could also use a toaster but the heating time will be longer)
- Other alternative topping e.g. Mentaiko, butter garlic with herbs, Tobasco sauce etc
