Closer Examination: 

At the start of this review I pointed out to the readers about the absence of beauty from this mouse. Moving on right from there you will also want to know that this mouse utilizes only three buttons (Left, Right, Wheel). For those who are accustomed to binding commands on the thumb buttons this mouse is not for you. Now the only reason I can think of about the stripping down of this mouse by Razer is weight. This mouse is almost half the size of Razer’s Deathadder and is extremely light weight. When I say extremely light weight I mean you can practically throw it aside with your finger nail. Users who have previously used Razer’s Lachesis or Deathadder will off-course at once realize the weight difference between them and the Salmosa.

The Salmosa boasts a 3G infrared sensor with a maximum DPI of 1800 which is commendable for a mouse designed under an economical tag. If you’re interested in switching to something lower then the mouse has an option of 800DPI also. The polling rates are between 125Hz, 500Hz, and 1000Hz. You can easily set your desired DPI and polling rates using the drivers. However, if you intent on using this mouse without drivers then the mouse has triggers beneath it. You can toggle between ur DPI and polling rates using those switches, a luxury that other Razer mice are deprived off.
