I have had acne for years, and have tried everything. This product is likely going to top my list of acne treatments - so far, it has been very effective. The Zeno devices are also effective, WHEN THEY WORK. Since this device doesn't require the tips to be replaced, the cost savings are already going to be substantial, and since I went through no less than THREE Zeno devices in about four years, with many replacement tips, I have said ADIOS to Zeno forever. Throw in that I have tried to reach Zeno customer service on three occasions, and had zero success, I refuse to patronize a company that offers lame products and even worse customer service. Another key difference is that this takes only one battery, and it seems to last for a pretty long time. The only negative I can write about it that this device beeps every few seconds, and can get annoying, but that is my one and only complaint thus far. The magic wand is effective, unique, and will offer a substantial cost savings over the very lame Zeno.

I did not buy this product here and I paid much less for it. I am very pleased with the results and its ease of use. The directions in the box took a couple of reads to get but once I figured it out the results have been stellar! I have really good skin and so when i get pimple it's a doozy. They are usually painful and huge. I had a zeno mini and thought I had hit the jackpot when I found the replacement tips in my local wal mart @ 5 dollars each. I bought all they had and it turned out to be a big, fat waste. Every time I go to my bathroom closet I see them stacked neatly in the corner doing nothing. My zeno did a great job for about 3 months then it would not work no matter how fresh,expensive or newly charged the batteries were. Each time I turned it on I got the light indicating a low battery then it shut off. This item uses one(AA) battery, I bought it in February and just changed the battery about a week ago. The blue light and heat work and I have never had a pimple no matter how big and bad last for more than 2 days. If catch them before they surface they don't happen at all. I keep this wand in my purse and never want to be without it. No more drying acne creams or unsightly eruptions , this item really does work:-)

I delayed in posting a review because I wanted to use this device a few times before posting. At first I used it on a large pimple that seemed to be the hormonal type - big, remains on my face for weeks without budging and does not form 'a head' no matter what I apply. However, after 2 uses I thought there were no changes, but with continuous use, i.e. I used it twice successfully about three times a day, and finally the pain began to subside, until gradually it went down. Note that I said this type of pimple hardly goes away. What I found most effective is applying the pen directly to small pimples, before they get bigger, once I do this the pimple either goes away or brings up whatever bacteria is lodged in it, close to the skin so I can squeeze it out. I am very careful in doing so and I am usually armed with my hydrogen peroxide and clean tissue and I disinfect everything that touches the pimple.

As mentioned, use the pen on the first indication of a pimple - the crawling sensation or the small pimple that does not hurt but suddenly appeared, it will stop the bacteria from multiplying and you will avoid getting a large zit. If you do get the zit despite usage of the pen, it will dry up faster than it normally would without usage of the pen. Always remember, to disinfect the pen when it is used on areas that are infected.
