Pay attention:
If this microphone is not connected with your D-SLR camera, after you put the battery inside and push the button, the indicator LED will flash for a second only.
If this microphone is connected with your D-SLR camera, the indicator LED will keep dark during recording. And if the indicator LED keeps flash, it means the battery is too weak and you need to change a new battery.
