SLOW-CURETM 30 mins low Cure EPOXY
Quality product from Bob Smith Industries Incorporated (BSI), Made in U.S.A. SLOW-CURE 30 min. epoxy works best for forming reinforcing fillets on joints. It has the highest strength of our epoxies. It is waterproof and more heat resistant. SLOW-CURE can be used for bonding if you’re willing to wait overnight. Fillers such as microballoons can be mixed with SLOW-CURE and FINISH-CURE to form a putty-like consistency. Such fillers will usually decrease the working time by about 25%. Bonded objects can be handled after 8 hours and the cured epoxy reaches full strength within 24 hours.

Direction SLOW-CURE™ 30 min. Epoxy is an equal two-part hobby adhesive that forms high strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and hardener. The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals.
SLOW-CURE has the highest strength of our epoxies and should be applied in temperatures above 70 degree fahrenheit / 21.1 degree celsius. SLOW-CURE maintains it’s strength in both the lowest and highest temperature ranges of our line of epoxies.

SLOW-CURE bonds best to clean, textured surfaces. Smooth, non-porous surfaces should be roughened with coarse sandpaper to improve adhesion. Acetone and Isopropyl rubbing alcohol work as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces. SLOW-CURE works best for forming reinforcing fillets on joints and can be mixed with microballons or other fillers to form putty-like consistency. SLOW-CURE is waterproof and forms superior bonds if you’re willing to wait overnight. It has better penetration of porous surfaces for better bonding. Full cure in 6-8 hours.
