About A Chair by Hay is a collection with outstanding simplicity in design,
result of close collaboration between Hee Welling and HAY.

This version of the About A Chair features a deep shell made of solid polypropylene and solid wood legs. The idea behind the About A Chair collection has been to develop a chair with conspicuous simplicity. A chair which works just as well around the dining table as around a conference table, in a canteen or at the office. The ambition of designer Hee Welling has been to reach a higher level in the combination of form, function, comfort, detail, and aesthetics.
