Title: [yr name] [your mobile no.] [yr Pupillary Distance – See Step 3a] [Qoo10 Order ID]
Attach: photo of your prescription (as bright and clear as possible) – See Step 3b
Note: if you forsee this step taking some time, you can proceed to Step 4 first as we use your purchase information to pre-prepare the lens material and frame first – shorten preparation time.
Step 3a: Measure your pupillary distance
Time required from you: 1-2 mins
Tools required: 15cm ruler, a friend!
1. Look straight ahead and focus at an object farthest from you. Keep focusing on the object and do not look at your friend.
2. Get your friend to measure your Pupillary Distance (PD) using a ruler according to picture below. If you want to be safe, measure the “distance between your pupil centers” 3 times and take the average. Most people fall within the range of 56-69mm. =)

Step 3b: Get your existing prescription slip
Time required from you: 2-3 mins
Good as your eyes do not need to adjust to new degree. Not so good if your eyesight had deteriorated significantly since and you need new prescription. Refer back to your old spectacle case/bag, they should come with your prescription like below.
Alternatively, approach your local optical shop that made your current spectacles and ask for your prescription – measurable from your existing spectacles. You can also get a new prescription as many local optical shops will give you an eye exam for free. You can ask for your Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement as well. They are required by law to release your prescription without fees to you and cannot charge or force you to make purchases to release it.
Step 4: Make your purchase
Time required from you: 5 mins
When you send us your prescription information below, we can start working on your specatacles immediately.
FAQ
Why are other similar retail offerings much more expensive? Am I getting bad quality or poorly done prescription lens?
No. Aside from our customers, we wear the same spectacles ourselves. Your spectacles are done using the same process and lens materials as how we make our own. =)
Then how is it done for lenses?
It’s simple. Avoid overpriced lens brands. Source for fairly-priced brands that are just as good for everyday use. See our personal test video. They meet most people’s needs 99% of the time - no frills, no fancy redundant features. We also do not inflate material, service cost and use your existing/provided measurement to reduce cost.
Can I use my contact lens prescription?
Unfortunately no. They are not the same thing. – you need to get a eyeglass prescription.
Will these lens darken in a car?
No. Car windshields filter out ultraviolet (UV) rays and photochromic lens require UV light to trigger the chemical process to darken. This is common across almost all photochromic lenses and is not a fault with our lens.
In a way, it’s good even if a little uncomfortable – you do not want anything obstructing your vision when you drive and there is less UV in a car anyway.
Are these spectacles so awesome that I can do with them?
No. Although we believe the spectacles to be very durable, please do not manhandle them or depend on them for any impact protection of any kind.
Where is your disclaimer?
Right here. Aside from our customers, we use our spectacles ourselves for reading, watching tv, 3D movies, playing computer games, physical outdoor sports, commuting and driving on a daily basis. However, please take note that we are not liable for any accidents that occur whilst wearing our spectacles. Should you feel any discomfort, don’t wear them and get a refund from us.
