DESCRIPTION

At Gigi Reaume we're taking cashmere beyond classic by using current fashion influences to spice up the basics in your wardrobe and provide luxury sweaters that last for years and years with the proper care.

Gigi Reaume cashmere is made from the fine, downy undercoat of Kashmir goats known for their longer, loftier, softer fibers. This produces the highest-quality fibers, which are then washed, carded, and spun into sumptuous two-ply yarns twisted to resist pilling without compromising strength.

The cashmere yarn features everything we love about our favorite sweaters - fine in texture, strong, light and incredibly soft. It's hard to imagine that a sweater this lightweight and soft could actually provide three times the insulation of regular sheep's wool. And because it's so soft against the skin, most of our customers can even wear their Gigi Reaume cashmere sweaters without a layer underneath.
