Civetとは英語でジャコウネコという意味です。


このシベットコーヒーの製造過程を初めて聞く人は驚かれるかもしれません。
ジャコウネコが食べる、良く熟した消化の良いコーヒー豆
そのジャコウネコが排泄した糞からコーヒー豆だけを取り出し洗浄します。
ジャコウネコの消化酵素や腸内細菌による発酵により、
コーヒーに独特で柔らかな香りが加わります。


ジャコウネコは麝香（じゃこう）に似た香りを持つためそう名付けられました。
香りの王様と呼ばれ、その魅力的な香りは古い時代から愛されてきました。
その香りは世界的に有名な香水にも使用されています。
希少価値が高く、世界で最も高価なシベットコーヒー
原産国であるフィリピンでもある地域で少量しか収穫することができません。

Kopi luwak that is decribed as "King of Coffee". It has a high scarcity value and is very expensive. It means Civet in English. People will be surprised on how the manufacturing process of civet coffee is produced. Civet cat eats coffee beans and then when digested, they will fetch the coffee beans from the feces that was excreted by the Civet cat by fermentation by intestinal bacteria and digestive enzymes for the civet, fragrance then is added to the coffee.

Civet cat was named because it has a fragrance similiar to musk. It is called the kinf of fragrane, the attractive scent has been loved from the old era. The fragrance has been used in the world famous perfume "Channel No.5". 

You will not be able to harvest only a small amount in the region, which is Philippines as the country of origin.
