Nearly 3 years ago, I brought my children to Singapore Discovery Center. It was a nice sunny day, perfect for school holiday bonding. It was a warm day but nevertheless, very enjoyable. We decided to go home about mid-afternoon. But when we were at the PIE heading to Yishun, we were suddenly caught in a heavy downpour. Oh well, what's new? This is so typical of Singapore weather:) That time, I was only relying on my rear view mirrors to navigate through the expressway exits from PIE exit to KJE, then exit to BKE and finally exit to SLE It was the most scarry incident I ever encountered in my many years of driving experience. My side mirrors are drenched and zero visibility. That time, I remembered, I wished that my side mirrors have wipers as well:) I just prayed to give us a safe ride home. Now, I wouldn't want to be caught in a heavy downpour like that without these weather shields again.
