The Kartell slide staining jar holds up to 16 slides with eight interior slots for 25 x 75mm (1 x 3") microscope slides (sold separately) held back-to-back. Two lids are available -- either for slide-handling or for preventing staining liquid evaporation. The staining jar is made of polymethylpentene (PMP) plastic for durability and corrosion resistance. The slide staining jar is suitable for staining tissue samples in a variety of histology, pathology, and cytology applications.
