I looked great in the pictures and the colors looked great when I recieved it. BUT then I saw that there was double stitching, misaligned stitches, and threads that pull easily in numerous places in the quilt. It really looks awful. I requested a rplacement on the chance that this was just a bad one, but the second one is worse than the first one. So I am returning the 2nd one as well. It is well constructed and a good price. We bought two for my son's room last year to replace his younger children's bedding on two twin beds. He combined it with Star Wars sheets and pillows, for now, but he can use it as he grows out of that stage. It looks excellent with light gray walls and charcoal gray carpet. Look carefully at the small color sample, those are the true colors. It has washed well several times. However, the last time one was washed after an episode of illness it did have some "bleach-type" spots on it, though I have attributed it to the stain removal packs that were washed with it. I will order a replacement for the one bed due to the price and quality instead of getting all new. I have the full/queen on twin beds with a pillow-top mattress and box springs and it touches the floor on both sides, more like a spread but looks nice. (I bought the bigger size due to some concerns about size in some reviews. The King quilt is of geneous sizing so I plan to keep it as it is the only quilt I have found to cover the sides of our mattress (109"Wx96"L dimentions of quilt). Still I most likely will use the solid color side.
