3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty

The 3M Scotchfil electrical insulation putty is a putty-like electrical grade compound in tape form. 3M Scotchfil putty is UL recognised as splice insulation for electrical conductors at temperatures up to +80o, when over-wrapped with either Super 33+ or Super 88 electrical tapes.

The non-corrosive synthetic rubber of the electrical putty, provides excellent electrical and ageing properties.

Common uses of Scotchfil putty include: insulating low voltage (LV) connections, build up or filling of major voids in LV, MV and HV connections, smoothing bus bar irregularities and to moisture-seal multi-conductor cable connections.
