The Plugable TBT3-UD1-83 Thunderbolt 3 Single Display Docking Station does not charge the attached computer. Enables an additional display, gigabit Intel Ethernet, audio, and USB expansion with 1x Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port (10Gbps), 1x USB-C Gen 1 & 2x USB 3.0 ports (5Gbps)
Dock provides DisplayPort++ output for DisplayPort monitors. Some 4K DisplayPort displays are incompatible. DisplayPort to HDMI passive adapter included to convert from DisplayPort to HDMI. HDMI adapter supports 4K at 30Hz and also supports 2560x1440@50Hz or 1080P@60Hz
The second Thunderbolt 3 port on the dock supports up to 5 daisy chained Thunderbolt 3 devices or a single USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gbps) device. 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pro, Mid 2017 iMac and Dell Thunderbolt 3 systems can support an additional USB-C Alt Mode adapter (sold separately)
Some 4K DisplayPort dispays are incompatibile, and not all Thunderbolt 3 systems will support this docking station. See important additional compatibility details below
