This is a high quality magnifying glass that provides 2.5X magnification, large viewing area, clear magnified view without aberrations, lack of distortion, even at the very edges of the 2-1/2' wide lens.
Focus is excellent once you get the glass in the right position over the intended target. A little movement back and forth gets it perfect in a short time.
The lens is polished glass and not plastic, the frame is polished stainless steel and the handle is rosewood.
The SS frame is about 3/8' thick and the glass viewing area is about 2 5/8' in diameter. The handle is about 3' long and the overall length is about 6 1/2'.
This is a very nice, classy and elegant looking magnifying glass that would look great on any desk.
