There were no instructions in the package, but you can get information online and videos, which I recommend taking the time to watch. Also missing from my set were the prep tabs. Quick version: Nails are cleaned and prepped. The pH Bond is brushed on, followed by the Foundation Base Coat. Hand goes under the curing light. Next, color goes on followed by the light. Repeat the color step again so there are two coats. Brush on the Top It Off, then under the light. (When you’re under the light at this point, your nails look a sickly whitish color, but upon removal look good!) The nail is cleaned again, then Cuticle Oil is applied to the skin around the nail. The area under the LED curing light isn’t very big. To get all 5 fingers under so they get complete exposure, I need to put my four fingers under first, then do the same hand again with just the thumb. The box with the Basix Kit indicates curing the foundation for 20 seconds, but the bigger box that actually has the light says 45 seconds. I used the 45 seconds for all three of the steps with good results. Before using the kit I thought it would be extremely time-consuming, but each step went quick and the more you use it, the faster you will be. I enjoyed doing my own nails and it can save a lot of money if you are someone who has your nails done at a salon regularly. Was this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportLasting, beautiful finish...10/14/2017Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews10/14/2017by kaddeedeadwoodsd ?Spark reviewer - received free productThis product is a great addition to my nail supplies. Everything is included and easy to use. I used the clear with sparkles. The other color is a shade of dark pink which I'll use for the next application. The finish a beautiful shine with a hard finish that doesn't come off while doing dishes and regular cleaning. What I especially like about this kit, I did it myself and it didn't cost me a hefty fee. Try it, you'll like it.Was this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
