Handle is 08 inches long. 18 Inches Long Cracker/ Popper. The Thong (Braided Part) measured from the end of Handle to the end of Braid. (The Fall an Cracker not included) . Whip length is measured from base of handle knob to the end of the braiding (not including the Fall, Cracker/Popper and Wrist loop) A REAL WHIP, FULLY FUNCTIONAL. WELL BALANCED AND CRACKS EASILY. THIS IS A HEAVY and LOUD WHIP. FULLY HAND MADE AND HAND CRAFTED. Check out the photo to really appreciate the craftsmanship that has gone into making this WHIP. Bullwhips starts with a steel spike for the handle that provides both a solid foundation and weight to balance the thong while a core is the innermost layer inside the thong of the whip. Then consists of two braided bellies of 4 strands each and two bolsters. The overlay is done in 12 plait. All the minute details are taken into account to achieve the look and feel of the original whips.
