An acknowledged masterpiece, this is the story of seven generations of the Buendía family and of Macondo, the town they have built. Though little more than a settlement surrounded by mountains, Macondo has its wars and disasters, even its wonders and miracles. A microcosm of Columbian life, its secrets lie hidden, encoded in a book and only Aureliano Buendía can fathom its mysteries and reveal its shrouded destiny. Blending political reality with magic realism, fantasy with comic invention, One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the most daringly original works of the twentieth century.

Garcia Marquez. Marquez was born in the small town of Aracatakar in the Caribbean coast of Colombia. He was the eldest of the 12 siblings, and lived in the house of the father of eight years after he was born. In 1946, Marquez graduated from high school in Sipakia near Bogota and studied law for a short time at the National University of Colombia. He then worked as a journalist in Colombia, France, Venezuela, USA and Mexico from 1950 to 1965. He studied law at Bogota University and stayed in Europe as a journalist. Since then, he has been working in Mexico. After the success of the Cuban revolution, he went to Cuba and worked as a correspondent for the national news agencies Rome, Paris, Caracas, Havana and New York. After the Cuban revolution, he entered the Cuban news agency 'Prensa Latina' where he worked in Bogota, New York and Mexico City, while also attending advertising companies and writing screenplays. Marquez decisively decided to become a writer by reading Franz Kafka's Transformation.I read the novel, and Marquez thought that things could happen in reality, but I think it's because I thought I could know a lot more and write about it in my personal opinion. He beat up the study of law and started full-fledged artist class. The artists he liked at the time were realist writers such as Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Flaubert, Stendhal and Balzac. One of the greatest influences of Marquez's youth was the scholar Ramon Vignes, who was also portrayed as "the sage of Catalan" in "Loneliness in Hundred Years". In this small class presided by the literary master, he learns modern writers. They were British and American writers such as James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, John Steinbeck, Theodore Dryzier, and William Faulkner. Marquez 's theme and intrinsic technique can be found in his background and in the process of life. Marquez turns his own narrative method, which combines the bizarre with simple and clear realism, and his special interest in local myths and legends. Meanwhile, his maternal grandfather inspired Marquez, his grandfather, as a person who participated in the civil war in Colombia in the 1890s, to create great characters. His solo work, "Loneliness in a Millennium," which also referred to him as Cervantes in Colombia, is a work of the history of the Buendia clan, based on a machined land called Macondo. The appearance of the blood of the work can be found in the characters of this work.In 1981, the "Chronicles of Death Reported" was sold in more than two million copies in Latin America, and received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982, the "Loneliness of the Hundred Years", which was a representative work of Latin American modern novels.
