The grinder is made with 304 grade stainless steel and copper metal parts, and a ceramic burr mill that is made with a tough, durable, long lasting grade of industrial ceramic, which will maintain a very good, precision grind over the life of the product. We make colorful and attractive grinders that are nice to display, but we do take the grinding part seriously so that you also have a grinder that delivers an excellent coffee grind each time. All parts are washable, but we do not recommend dishwasher use. The glass body is intended to collect the coffee grounds. It is NOT to be used for drinking with very hot water.
