Highly detailed 1/700 scale assembly model kit of the IJN Amagi ("Heavenly Castle"), an Unry??-class aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy in World War II. Commissioned on 10 August 1944, the Amagi was never deployed by the Japanese Navy during the Second World War, and the carrier's only combat service came during defensive anti-aircraft action in Kure during the closing stages of the war. The IJN Amagi was sunk by air attack at Kure Naval Base on 27 July 1945.
