The Reishi spores are produced and released by the Reishi (Ganoderma, Lingzhi 灵芝) mushroom, which is considered one of the ‘magic’ herbs (along with Ginsheng) in Chinse Traditional Medicines. A Reishi (Ganoderma, Lingzhi) spore is shown to be more nutritious than the Lingzhi mushroom body itself, and it contains all the essence medicinal and biological properties. The Reishi Spore has a tough protective shell, which is to be disrupted properly for efficient absorption by human body. It was estimated that out of 1 tonnes of Ganoderma mushroom, there is only 1kg of spore produced.
