I thought it would be stiff, like chapstick. After putting it on, it gives a great shine to lips and your lips feel so soft and well hydrated. I used it overnight but am going to start using it during the day when I don't want to wear color. Didn't see the 'plumping" effect. Please never stop making this!!!!
