I still love a wood pencil, ive never had any sharpening issues, just place in sharpener and turn a lightly one turn around and its sharp. mine never breaks. I can sharpen it with a good sharpener and it just falls apart. It used to be a little more solid and smooth. It's also more greasy, it does not stay put. it wipes off too easily. I love this pencil.
