Multi-sided glue joint bits make joining up multi-sided projects easy. Columns, barrels and planters to name a few can grace your decor with minimal effort. Using these bits, you will only need to cut one end as opposed to two (such as with miter joints) reducing cutting time in half! Bits are designed to cut at the correct angle providing extra gluing surface and a strong mechanical joint. When glued together, the routed end hugs the mating piece preventing any slippage. Choose the desired bit and cut according to the amount of sides needed for your project. Cut face up for six or eight sided projects and face down for twelve or sixteen sided projects. Edges can be cut either flush or protruded, then sanded down later to the desired finish. Set comes in a solid wood storage case. Two flute carbide cutters and 1/2'' shanks.
