These pencils are amazing! I love how smooth of a texture it produces; the rich colors are bold from start-finish and truly allows for ones creativity to develop. I also like the fact they didn't smudge as much as a few other brands I have encountered and with a heavy hand the colors tend to last. I, personally decided to rearrange the pencils by the colors from light to dark (oranges, blues, yellows, etc....) this I found made it much simpler when focused on my work and needing that exact color tone for my work. I found these were great for blending & shading, and so easy to use for basic beginners to the more novice at heart, and are truly soft to work with. Cons: I didn't care for the gold metallic pencil in this set, and there need to be a better assortment of creams & tans for working with skin-flesh tones.For my birthday this month another member of another coloring group has blessed me with: Verithin Colored Pencils -- I can't wait to try them out.** I am a colorist, not the original illustrator.Was this review helpful?Yes (3)No (0)ReportRe: "Not Impressed"6/29/2017Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews6/29/2017by BeadladyMany years ago before I found Prisma, I tried a lot of different brands of colored pencils none of which gave me the desired effect, ease of use, or the quality of the product I was looking for. I don't need to elaborate on this as most of you already know what I mean. This is why I find it so hard to believe "Not Impressed's" review! It makes me wonder if he works for one of the manufacturers he mentions or maybe he's not an accomplished artist or colorist for that matter. I'm not bashing him, I'm just flabbergasted, lol. For the people who found his review helpful, do yourself a favor & read the rest of the reviews; not that many of us could be wrong! And don't forget to be creative each day in what ever you do!
