Designed to tackle steep vert, rain-soaked talus fields, and exposed ridgelines, the Norvan features a modest, yet precise, construction that effortlessly cruises through trail running pursuits that are more of a scramble than a jaunt on smooth singletrack.
The most notable feature on the Norvan is the Adjustable 360 Support System?this design offers you the best of a trail runner and approach shoe by allowing you to switch from climb to run mode in minimal time. When running, simply tie the laces and adjust the drawcord to your preference. To climb, cinch the drawcord down as snugly as you can and carry on with your endeavor. A fixed internal stretch bootie protects your foot from trail debris, and it enables the Norvan to become amphibious as you cruise through streams or puddles. The beauty of this internal bootie is that it''s extremely quick-drying and comfortable, so you can wear it with or without socks. The Norvan is also equipped with a Vibram MegaGrip outsole that consists of Idrogrip at the forefoot to promote unimpeded grip in the climbing zone, and the 3.5mm lugs in the rear ensure serious traction on wet, dry, or loose terrain.
