To demonstrate that the image formed in a Plane Mirror is as far behind in the Mirror as the object is from the Mirror or that the image distance is equal to the object distance. It consists of a specially coated mirror in which you can view the image from the front and can also see thru the mirror. If the object which in this case is a mounted flame cut out is placed in front and a similar is placed on the back and parallax error is removed then it will be found that the object and the image are at the same distance.
