DESCRIPTION

L-Ascorbic acid is a naturally occurring organic compound with antioxidant properties. It is a highly active form of Vitamin C. It is used as a cosmetic ingredient in serums and other cosmetic formulations. Use: Add to WATER phase of formula, usual final concentration: 5-20%. Should be formulated at pH <3. 5 for best results. Application: Lotions, creams, sun care and after sun products, shampoos, makeup products (e. g. lipsticks).
