My glass was clear, my neon worked perfectly. i put it in my sons room and he loves it!!!!!!!! Walmart was very helpful in finding out where the first one ended up. When we opened the box, it was the wrong design, but we kept it anyways. The plexiglass is clouded & scratched; neon works fine. Battery doesn't completely fit, but connection was made so clock does work. This clock is made very cheaply, I wouldn't buy it again at any price. It was a good idea in the shape of the guitar, too bad they made it so poorly. Its bright its big and its perfect for lighting a room up. The plug in for it stays where its supposed to and the aa battery compartment on the back of it holds the battery the way its supposed to.
