Glass hydrometers use

1 meter floating dry before use must be completely cleaned ， ( cleaned with soap or alcohol )
2 After the cleaning process after a clean float gauge， hand engraved lines can not take part in the indexing ， the index finger and thumb lightly must take in the dry tube top ， and be careful not to cross to get ， should be perpendicular to take to prevent breakage
3 must be filled with the liquid in the tube clean， so as not to affect the readings
4 To stir the liquid ， and so on and then eliminate the floating bubbles gently floating in the liquid meter ， the meter on the detection of the floating point ， within the next three points of the float， to be good readings into the meniscus ， otherwise inaccurate readings
5 To see the floating meter reading method， as marked " meniscus edge reading " float within a small sign outside ， the other will be used " under the edge of the meniscus reading ." Figure .
6 When the liquid temperature and standard temperature hydrometers inconsistent readings should be corrected

1 floating meter shall not exceed the maximum permissible error + / - a division value .
(2) The glass gauge measured by the National Bureau of Standards and Metrology <JJG86-86JJG42-87> Bureau and the Shanghai factory is measured by the test factory ， products with a certificate .

Density meter standard temperature 20C

Densitometer using a wide range ， density greater than 1000Kg/m3 \'s . Used to determine the density of various acids， salts in aqueous solution . E.g. solutions of sulfuric acid ， nitric acid， hydrochloric acid， and certain inorganic or organic acids ， bases， sodium hydroxide ( caustic soda ) ， potassium hydroxide solution ， the zinc chloride salts ， such as sodium chloride solution.

Density less than the density for determining 1000KG/m3 methanol ethanol， ethyl ether solution ， as well as gasoline ， kerosene ， vegetable oil， liquid petroleum ether .

Uses: mainly used alcohol meter wineries， specialty units and chemical plants . Wine and alcohol solution to determine the alcohol content of various edible .
