I have flown with this on a few flights, in addition to dragging it on a few cruises. The bag itself weighs only 3lbs, and I have stuffed it with 47 lbs of clothes, toiletries, and misc small heavy things, and it held great! The bag has hidden straps on the bottom that you can pull out and clip to make the bag into a backpack - which makes it easier to carry.If you are looking for "luggage" that is lightweight that you can pack more stuff in (especially for airlines), this is your bag!Was this review helpful?Yes (9)No (0)ReportDidn't even make it to the first use....9/9/2017Average rating:1out of5stars, based onreviews9/9/2017by RaleighTomMy daughter bought this bag to move to Switzerland for school. Packed it with clothes, grabbed it by one handle to pull it closer and attach the other handle and it ripped completely off. Contacted Coleman customer service, let them know I did not have a receipt and sent them pictures asking for a replacement bag. They told me to contact the manufacturer, Olivet International Inc, and when I went to their website, they state to send the bag, with proof of purchase, to them and they will evaluate. I do not want to risk the cost of postage only to have them reject my claim on a technicality, when obviously it is a bad bag. I would suggest anyone considering this bag take this into account.
