In the early 2000's, I climbed about 1,500 feet to dig this beautiful specimen in Sam's Pocket #4 at about 13,000' on the northern ridge of the Little Giant Basin in the San Juan Mountains, San Juan County, just east of Silverton. It measures about .75" x 2". This is from my personal collection that I am selling because of retirement and the economy. All crystals are believed to have healing properties. It is believed that Double/Multiple Terminated Quartz Crystals are multi-functional; energy moves outward in either direction or in both directions concurrently. They have the capacity to draw or to transmit energy through both ends. Doubles are excellent for astral projection and for dreaming - place them under your pillow at night and they can increase and intensify the dream state. They are also excellent for use in meditation. They can also be used to assist in providing one protection from mental and physical harm. Carrying a double terminated crystal can enable one to maintain ones energy shield. They symbolize patience and perseverance; this is quite important during healing situations. They have also been found to be helpful in stressful emotional situations. They are also known for their protective ability.
