MATERIAL: Lovely handcrafted rose cup set that comes with a mug, a plate and a stirrer all fine porcelain. It is a ceramic mug of high quality, the tea cup is easy to hold. The rose spoon is the perfect size for that size teacup, it''s long enough to reach the bottom of the cup and stir, but is tall and thin so it doesn''t look awkward sitting in the cup. The saucer is larger than most, if sometimes you would like to dunk a cookie or something in your tea and you can put it right on the plate.
PRODUCT DESIGN: The rose theme design is beautiful, the cup itself is a flower and there is even a design on the handle. The beautifully curved saucer is in the shape of heart/leaf and has a beautiful blue rose molded at its end. And last but not least, the stir-stick has a small rose at the top of it. The stem adds the perfect touch to complete the set.
EXQUISITE COLORING: It is cool how they have the 3-D effect, the sculpting and the paint is quite lovely! The painting is evenly done with blue color fading in and out. All the colors of the flower and the leaves are vivid and the details are nicely presented. Intricate detail goes all the way to the handle and spoon even. It''s an art piece as much as a teacup that is very elegant also looks great to desplay or decorate.
MEASUREMENTS: It is more like a demi tea cup. The mug tapers toward the bottom. It is about 3'' tall. The lip curves somewhat outward and approximates 3'' in diameter but about 4 3/8'' to the part of the handle that actually sticks out. The saucer is 5 5/8 inches by 5 3/8 inches at the longest points. The 5 3/8'' spoon fits nicely in the cup that holds about 4 ounces of tea/coffee.
