Wheat Beer
Ranging from straw to gold in color, the wheat beer is often hazy or cloudy, with the
flavor of wheat flour or bread. Unique clove and banana flavors common in traditional
hefeweizens are present. Wheat beers are a little sweeter, so they are more approachable
and are very drinkable on hot summer days.

As the story goes, the World Beer Cup sent back our IPA with a note that it was not
strong enough for the competition. So the following year, we sent the “F#&% YOU”
version. Same recipe, but double the hops and double the malt. It won the Gold Medal in
the 2004 World Beer Cup® for the English Style IPA Category – ‘nuff said.

Mad Bee Honey Ale
Based on our Golden Ale, except that honey plays a large role as an adjunct and adds a
major portion of fermentable sugars. This amber colored beer has a deliciously off-dry taste
with strong notes of honey and a small dash of hoppiness. This is a very refreshing beer
perfect for those hot summer days.
