SIM800C shield hardware description:

Power supply input: supports 5-26V、 note when voltage is 5-9V、 the power adapter current can provide at least 2A; support lithium battery (3.6-4.2V)
The communication interface is TTL level serial port. Fully compatible with Arduino、 compatible with other 5V、 3.3V、 2.85V system.
You can choose to use the hardware serial ports (D0 D1) or software serial (D7 D8) via jumper.
Support MICRO SIMCARD.
It supports four headphone jack (I type).
Support SIM800C firmware update via USB or serial port.
Can be upgraded with Bluetooth version development board.
Onboard TVS tube、 SIM card protection IC、 two 100UF tantalum capacitors and other ways to stabilize the board performance.

SIM800C shield software description:

Communication with external systems by TTL level serial、 the default can communicate directly with 5V system、 no need level matching. When communication 3.3V systems and 2.85V systems、 need to do a bit of hardware processing.
The communication interface (command) for the AT command、 that is、 the control module functions entirely through AT commands to achieve、 such as: control module calling using ATD *******; (* for each other's phone number).
