My Experience with Purederm Aloe Collagen Mask:

The sheet mask comes in a green and silver coloured plastic bottle shaped sachet packaging. Each package contains a cottony soft sheet mask. The mask is soaked in some aloe solution. It is so wet that it is somewhat in a dripping condition. The mask has a typical aloe fragrance, which is cool and refreshing. The sheet has cutouts for eyes, nose and lips. The sheet does not have any kind of adhesive on either side of the mask.

The wetness of the sheet sticks it nicely onto the skin. It does not slip off from the face. I have used this mask on my face for 20 minutes as given in instructions. It can be peeled off easily from the face. I have some minute facial hairs, so I avoid using peel off masks. But, this sheet mask does not hurt and pull my facial hairs at all. After using this mask, my skin feels softer and smoother. It instantly makes my skin look lively and fresh. My skin feels moisturized and hydrated. It does not feel oily or sticky at all.

I have been using these sheet masks for more than a month now. I have noticed a visible difference in the size of my facial pores. But this effect lasts only if you are using this mask regularly. I use a sheet mask weekly. The effects are not long-lasting and regular usage is advised. Overall, I am happy with the quality of the mask, but the effect does not last long.

Today, I am going to review Purederm Pearl Essence Mask.  I got this a long while ago but somehow never used it.  So, one fine day, when I felt like applying some mask on my face, I recollected that I have this mask and that I need to use it soon.

So, let’s see how it fared.

My Take on Purederm Pearl Essence Mask:

It is a ready-to-use mask sheet.  I would love if all the face packs came in a ready-to-use sheet mask form as I am way too lazy when it comes to using face masks or face packs  

I was very careful while removing the mask from the pouch as I was scared that I would tear it off. No, it isn’t fragile, but since this was my first sheet mask, I was extra careful 

The sheet mask feels a little gooey and oily when I took it out.  I was quite apprehensive to use it thinking that it would make my skin oily, but thank goodness, I was wrong.

It gives a tingling sensation (no…nothing that would make you feel scratchy or irritating), just a mild tingling sensation, probably that means that the mask is working 

I don’t have blemishes on my skin as such nor do I experience redness. so cannot comment if it is effective in clearing blemishes and reduce skin redness.

Yes, my face did brighten up a bit and my skin felt a little more tight and intact but the effects were not long lasting either. I slept off and when I woke up in the morning my skin was back to square one.  Whatever little results I could notice disappeared   So, yes it is a fuss-free mask but the results are not too great.  In fact, any other face pack would give same results and yet be inexpensive.

My Experience with the Purederm Cucumber Collagen Mask:

Purederm is another Korean brand that offers many face masks. I came to know about this brand from IMBB. I like how I get to know new brands through reading these posts. Anyway, the mask comes in a bottle shaped packet, which is a bit different from regular designs. There is a marker present which facilitates in easy tearing.

All instructions were given at the back of the packaging. The mask is a white sheet which is neither too thick nor thin. It is soft to touch and is loaded with the serum of cucumber and vitamin E. Proper care should be taken while opening the folds. It may be quite sticky and the serum can drip off if squeezed out. 

I apply the sheet evenly on the face with proper nose adjustment and let the mask sit for 15-20 minutes. After that the mask becomes slightly loose as the serum gets fully absorbed by the skin. Then I remove the mask and massage whatever serum is left on the face for a good 5 minutes; then I wash my face with water.
I noticed some change in my skin after washing. It felt more moisturized, soft to touch and clear-looking skin. I couldn’t notice any breakout after using this. However, for oily skin, I can’t guarantee the same in summers.
