Viteyes Dry Eye is formulated with omega-3, flaxseed oil, lactoferrin and more to help relieve your toughest dry eye needs.Viteyes Dry Eye comes in a 90 easy-to-swallow softgel bottle (3 month supply). Lactoferrin levels in those with tear-deficient dry eye have been shown to be about half of normal levels. Vitamin B6 aids in the proper absorption of magnesium. Magnesium helps the body produce the hormone prostaglandin E-7, which is necessary for tear production. Borage seed oil activates PGE1 and cAMP, which have been clinically shown to stimulate aqueous tear production in patients with dry eye. Omega-3 fish oil may suppress inflammation of the tear gland. In addition, omega-3 fatty acids are used by oil glands in the eye lid to make a healthy tear-film oil layer. Vitamin E helps prevent oxidation by stabilizing the EFAs and inhibiting COX2 (enzyme responsible for inflammation and pain) activity that promotes inflammatory response.
