We prepare our Cascara Sagrada Extract from the bark of Frangula purshiana trees, which is Sustainably Wildcrafted in its wild mountain habitat in the Pacific Northwest. To assure a mild, non-irritating action, the bark is sun-dried, and is then aged for one year before being extracted. Caution: Seek expert medical advice prior to use during pregnancy or nursing. Do not use in intestinal obstruction, diarrhea, abdominal pain or inflammation. Not for use in children younger than 12 years old. Do not exceed recommended dose and do not use for longer than 8 consecutive days.
