Detailed 1/700 scale assembly model kit of the legendary U.S. Navy battleship USS Missouri BB-63. The Missouri, an Iowa-class battleship, was most notable as the site of the surrender of Japan which ended the Second World War. The battleship Missouri's illustrious service in the U.S. Navy lasted some four decades and during which she received a total of eleven battle stars for service in World War II, Korea, and the Persian Gulf. After firing her guns in battle for the last time in support of the 1990 Gulf War, the Missouri was decommissioned (March 31, 1992). Although she is no longer in active service, the Missouri can still be admired as a museum ship at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
